About Us

Established in 2021, we started the Wood Lab in order to supply full circle, sustainable handcrafted wooden goods to the marketplace. We source the wood locally in the Murphy, NC area and from our multiple properties in North Carolina. We plant three trees for each tree we fell. We continually strive to bring the highest quality, handcrafted, full circle items to our customers. The Woodlab is family owned and operated by myself, my wife and daughter; and of course the three Wood Labs. Our product is 100% American made and chemical free. The wood never leaves our hands from the time the log goes onto the mill, into our kiln and through our workshop. We focus on capturing the natural beauty of the wood we harvest and mill and form it into utilitarian artwork for the kitchen. We are also a veteran owned company; Semper Fidelis!
